Kailash Fellowship hosted its inaugural event where Anam Thubten introduced the Kailash Fellowship through two online screenings of the documentary Journey to Golok: Takyak Pilgrimage.
The documentary is a travelogue of the trip four sangha members made to the Golok region in Tibet where Anam Thubten grew up, in the area where lineage master Dudjom Lingpa lived and practiced. The group made pilgrimages to sacred sites and stayed in retreat where beloved hermit Anam Chatralwa practiced in life-long retreat in a tent. Anam Thubten said the film gives a “visceral sense of our lineage roots.”
Many Vajrayana, Chöd, and world wide students of Anam Thubten joined the two online screenings on this day, and participated in lively discussion with Anam Thubten and the four pilgrims.
