Takyak Hermitage in Tibet is a sacred site at 13,000 feet where life-long hermit Anam Chatralwa lived in a tent. Since he was a vegetarian he had only quilts, rather than animal pelts, to keep him warm in the harsh conditions. He was beloved by locals who believed he could heal people with his compassion. Under Anam Thubten’s direction, a hermitage was built on this powerful site in recent years.
By supporting this sacred site, we are connected to Anam Thubten and our Fellowship’s spiritual roots.
We thank you for your interest and support!
